On Sept. 30th, Frobenius Institute members Sophia Thubauville and Susanne Epple host a workshop on "Millets and Maize. Dynamics around Ethiopia’s competing grains" in Mekelle, Ethiopia. The workshop precedes the 20th International Conference of Ethiopian Studies (ICES) and continues topics discussed in the workshop "Contested millets in Africa and India", held at the Frobenius Institute in May 2018.
