On February 9, Mireia Alcantara Rodriguez, Álvaro Fernández-Llamazares, and Jorge C. Llopis from the Autonomous University of Barcelona visited us.
As part of the project “Assessing long-term changes in Indigenous Environmental Knowledge (IEK-CHANGES)”, scientists from Spain are interested in the research trip undertaken by Karin Hissink and Albert Hahn (Expedition 24, Bolivia 1952-1954, Vol. III, IV and V).
Together, we were able to clarify some open questions in our archives and also learn more about our guests' current research on the Tsimane people living in the Bolivian Amazon.
